Women's High Fashion On Red Carpet Has Become Boring
Remember when Cher used to wear outlandish getups to the Oscars? Or how about how when Elizabeth Taylor wore the periwinkle dress to match her eyes? Or when Carol Channing wore a dress encrusted with 50 pounds of rhinestones. Would any star these days be willing to take such risks? It seems as if high fashion on the red carpet has become boring and fixed. It would not hurt to certainly spice things up with some originality and daring inventiveness. Some stars are trying to mix it up a bit but they are normally D list stars who don't get as much notice. The A list stars of today seem unwilling to take the risks they need to be called fashion forward. But for us it is all getting rather stale and old. The girls in this picture model the looks that inspired us.
