Not Exactly Women's Fine Fashions

Women's Fine Fashions
Let's face the truth about fashion for a minute: as Heidi Klum says, "In fashion, one day you are in and the next day you're out." The same goes for your clothes, and that often means it doesn't matter how much you spent on them.

To keep up with modern fashion, you have to keep buying new stuff. Buy, buy, and buy some more. We don't all have the money to keep buying the clothes featured in Vogue.

Forever 21 is a store that offers some big savings in the world of fashion. It is true that the clothes here are not women's fine fashions. The only thing fine about them is the way they look. They certainly won't last forever.

But when fashion is as fleeting as it is, why pay any more than you have to?

Fur A Part of Women's Fine Fashions?

Women's Fine Fashions
The ugly trend of using real fur in women's fine fashions has returned. Many of the top designers are highlighting fur accents on the runway this season, and the trend is making me sick.

The worst part about it, other than the fact that plenty of innocent animals had to die just to make a coat look expensive, is the fact that a lot of the fur being used is getting dyed all kinds of crazy colors. If you want a coat with hot pink fur trim, why can't you get faux fur? Why can't it be synthetic fur, made hot pink, not a little animal, or many little animals, dyed hot pink?

Designers like Michael Kors know that real fur is tempting for women of status. Real fur still denotes a certain amount of luxury and class. If you are against the practice, do the obvious: don't ever, ever buy clothing made of real fur.
