1970's Women's Fashion Should Disappear Forever

1970s womens fashionThe mood and style of the 1970's, some people still love it and some people could frankly do without. In general 1970's women's fashion is either a love it or hate it attitude. Designs included shift dresses, flared skirts and pounced sleeves, big bell bottom jeans and other pants, halter necklines, one piece jumpsuits, tube tops, short jean shorts and plenty of big collars, flowers and polyester. The punk look was also created in large part in the 1970's thanks to designers Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren. Disco themed clothes with sequines, torn jeans, polyester wrap around dresses were hot in the later part of the decade. This was still the age of free spirit and love left over from the 60's and then some. Some of the styles have come back with some success but most would love to just see them disappear forever.
